Neuromodulators (Botox™, Dysport™, Xeomin™) are injectable treatments that minimize the appearance of wrinkles using a purified form of the neurotoxin botulinum toxin Type A. When botulinum toxin Type A is injected as a limited dose into a muscle, it prevents it from receiving nerve signals that trigger it to contract. Without these signals, the muscle relaxes, and the skin above it doesn’t crease — meaning wrinkles, lines, and folds cannot form and minimize over time. …
Dermal fillers, such as Voluma®, RHA™, or Versa™, help restore lost volume and improve symmetry to give a more youthful appearance. They can be used in the
In the face, neck, and hands.
Temple Area – Adding volume to the temples brightens up the eyes and helps restore the look and shape of the upper face, often leaving clients looking more youthful.
Under-eye – Looking tired or have hollows under your eyes? Under-eye filler offers a soft approach to lessen dark circles and shadowing with natural-looking improvement.
Cheeks -Filler for the cheeks can help restore lost volume and lift the face. Cheek filler can also contour the cheekbone area and enhance the shape and profile of the face.
Chin – Chin augmentation can give a more balanced profile and reduce the look of a receding or double chin. The neck and jawline can also look more defined if you have more distinction between face and neck.
Lips – Lip enhancement is a common treatment at Cossmedic Wellness and Aesthetics. Lip fillers add volume and hydration to the lips, giving them a more balanced, plump, and youthful look.
Smile Lines – As you age, the skin becomes more lax and can cause more prominent nasolabial folds. Filler can help lessen the appearance of smile lines and give the lower half of the face a more lifted look. For marionette lines or creases from your mouth down to your chin, filler can make lines look softer and not as deep, while keeping it looking natural.
Jawline – The jawline separates our neck from our face. As skin ages, we begin to lose this definition. Restoring the contour of the jawline can minimize the look of jowls and enhance the side profile.
Hydration – Administering micro-droplets of hyaluronic acid into the surface of the skin, hydrates and nourishes from the inside out, giving skin a smoother, more supple look.

Bruxism refers to teeth grinding and jaw which can occur either during the day or at night. Bruxism is one of the most common known sleep disorders and causes most of its damage during sleeping hours. The clenching and grinding which accompanies bruxism is symptomatic of a malfunctioning chewing reflex, which is turned off in non-sufferers when sleeping.
Earache, depression, headaches, eating disorders and anxiety are amongst the most common symptoms of bruxism; which often accompanies chronic stress.
Bruxism is one of the leading causes of gum recession and tooth loss and can result in abnormal wear patterns on the chewing surfaces and shortened or cracked teeth; which may require restorative treatment. In severe and chronic cases, bruxing can eventually lead to painful arthritis, TMJ pain and debilitating headaches.
Neurotoxins, such as Botox™, Dysport™, or Xeomin™, can be injected into the muscles to relax and weaken them. Botox® is an excellent treatment for bruxism because it weakens the muscles enough to prevent the grinding, but not enough to interfere with everyday functions like chewing and speaking.
Even though injections of toxins (Botox™, Dysport™, or Xeomin™), and filler (Voluma®, RHA™, Versa™ or other brands) are not surgical procedures, it is very important to choose a highly experienced and qualified clinician when deciding to undergo toxin or filler treatments. Our providers are fully trained and participate in continuing education to ensure your safety and positive outcomes. We take the time to talk with each candidate, before beginning the injections, to find out what they want to achieve and to determine how best to correct the problem area(s) so patients can be happy again with their smoother, younger-looking faces. We also ask our patients to come back for a 2-week follow-up. This follow up allows us to evaluate your results and answer any questions you might have.
